Rowan launched Rowan Quilting & Patchwork Book No.1. Now launching it's 10th Quilting & Patchwork Book in the series, the Rowan fabrics have developed into a portfolio of talented designers. The fabrics are still used to create beautiful quilts, however, more recently the collaboration with fabric designer Amy Butler has pushed the fabrics into a new direction by producing stylish bags, accessories and modern home decor.

The exhibition features knitted garments and accompanying images which Rowan has grouped into capsules. Many of these garments are original and date right back to the year the corresponding magazine was published. Most are knitted in their original yarns. Garments on Display

2. HOW TO PERSONALIZE A PROJECT: Tuesday, August 11, 2009, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. From beginner to advanced. Attendees will learn how to select a pattern with proper sizing, appropriate yarn, needles, and finding gauge.

3. FINISHING TECHNIQUES: Thursday, August 13, 2009, 5:30 p.m to 7:00 p.m. Attendees will bring a project, any questions or problems, or just come to learn professional seaming, buttonholes, and crochet edging.
